About Shaya Silber, Toronto Internet Lawyer
Shaya Silber joined Zvulony & Company as an associate internet lawyer in 2010. His law practice is focused on assisting web-based businesses with business planning, contract negotiation and drafting, and strategies to avoid legal liability . He advises individuals and businesses in copyright law, defamation law, privacy law, media & communications, e-commerce, contract law, and all aspects of web development.
Originally from Montreal, Shaya came to Toronto to practice internet law with Zvulony & Company. Prior to joining Zvulony and Company, Shaya worked at one of Canada’s big business law firms, where he gained experience in business and corporate law.
Shaya has also worked at the Ontario Securities Commission, where he researched various policy initiatives in the wake of the financial meltdown of 2008.
More recently, Shaya served as a copyright law consultant to an entertainment production company that specializes in theatrical and musical works. During law school, Shaya had the opportunity to spend 6 months on exchange in Australia.
