The Paperless Law Office

We promise to use less paper whenever possible.

Legal matters tend to generate excessive amounts of paper. A simple litigation file can generate boxes and boxes of documents. Documents are copied. Pages are printed. Trees are cut, and toner is wasted.

It does not have to be that way. In most cases, documents do not need to be printed on paper in order to be considered a legal document. Electronic documents can have the same legal effect as paper documents.

We prefer the use of electronic documents over the use of paper documents whenever and where ever possible.

Our clients can have their court documents, letters, faxes, and voice messages, emailed to them and archived on disc. Any original paper documents that are sent to us, are scanned, sent electronically to our client and then physically given to our client at the conclusion of their matter. Paper copies can be provided at our client’s request.
